As part of its mission, STAR Center researches and disseminates new knowledge and strategies for preventing and treating suicidal behaviors, depression, and anxiety to the public.
STAR develops and conducts specialized trainings and webinars on a myriad of topics related to the assessment and treatment of depressed and suicidal teens for:
- School districts
- Mental health and youth-serving organizations
- Professional agencies
- Physicians and primary care staff
- Mental health providers
- Other public institutions and groups
- Families and community members
