Since it's founding in 1986, STAR Center has led the way in vital teen suicide prevention research and clinical practice. Through outreach and education efforts, including the annual Suicide Prevention Conference, STAR Center brings effective practices and strategies to providers, families, and communities who care for vulnerable youth. The evolution of the work of STAR Center has led to technical innovations, exemplary teen and college-option intensive outpatient, survivors of suicide support group, and partnerships with schools and caring organizations.
